Our client, a Canadian owned international manufacturer with 30,000 employees worldwide has need for an individual to look after a $30 million maintenance budget.
We are seeking the following professional to play a key role in the area of maintenance planning and the execution of maintenance work in the Plant Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible as the systems Administrator for the Maximo System.
• To oversee the equipment and other plant systems PM program.
• To oversee the equipment and other plant systems reliability program.
• Manage the visibility of metrics for Plant Engineering
• Manage the Maintenance Stores (#10 Stores).
• To identify/implement maintenance related projects aimed at reducing maintenance costs or improving facility/equipment reliability.
• To liaison with departmental personnel and assist with Maximo and handheld data collector issues.
• Prepare adhoc reports and analysis on maintenance processes.
Requirements:
• A professional engineering designation. (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial)
• Minimum of 7 years experience working in a maintenance environment.
• Experience working with Skilled Trades in problem-solving/participative teams.
• Strong Electrical and Mechanical systems aptitude.
• Proficient computer skills including Maximo or other work order maintenance systems.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, and possess ability to multi-task.
